# Profile picture & logo

> Set your personal profile picture and your organization's logo — accepted formats, the size limit, and where they appear across Artor.

Two images give your organization a face: your **personal profile picture** and your
**organization's logo**. Both are optional, and both upload the same way.

## Your profile picture

Go to **Settings → Account** and use the **Profile picture** card. Choose an image, and a
square preview lets you confirm the crop before you save. While the upload is in flight the
avatar shows a spinner and an **Uploading…** label, so you can see it's working; removing a
picture shows the same progress state.

You're also invited to set your name and picture the first time you sign in, in the onboarding
**About you** step — and "Add a profile picture" appears in the getting-started checklist until
you do. It's always optional; you can set or change it later here at any time.

Your picture shows up wherever you appear to teammates: the account menu, the comment triage
list, and anywhere a member is listed.

## Your organization's logo

Organization **admins** set the logo at **Settings → Organization**, in the **Logo** card. The
logo appears in the organization switcher, so people who belong to several orgs can tell them
apart at a glance.

**Note:** 
  Only admins can change the org logo. Everyone can see it; the upload control is disabled for
  members who can't change it.

## Formats and size

- Choose a **PNG, JPEG, or WebP** image up to **5 MB**.
- Profile pictures are cropped to a square. Check the preview before saving.
- Organization logos keep the full mark visible.

## Removing an image

Both cards let you remove the current image. Your profile picture falls back to your initials on
a colored chip; the org logo falls back to the org's monogram.
