# Connect Claude

> Connect Claude to Artor so it can publish prototypes, create public links and work through review comments for you.
> URL: https://artor.app/docs/connect-claude

**Note:**
  The Artor connector is in **open beta**.

Add Artor to Claude as a custom connector, and Claude can publish prototypes, create public
links, answer review comments and organize your work in Artor, as you. What it can do is
covered in [Connect a chat app](https://artor.app/docs/connect-a-chat-app#what-the-app-can-do).

The connector address is:

```text
https://dash.artor.app/mcp
```

Running your own Artor instance? See [Connecting](https://artor.app/docs/connect-a-chat-app#connecting).

## On a Free, Pro or Max plan

1. In Claude, open **Customize > Connectors**.
2. Choose **+ Add**, then **Add custom connector**.
3. Name it `Artor`, enter the address above and choose **Continue**.
4. Keep the detected sign-in settings: **Sign in now**, and for the OAuth client, Claude's own
   published identity. Choose **Add**.
5. A browser tab opens on Artor. Sign in if asked, then approve the connection on Artor's
   [consent page](https://artor.app/docs/connect-a-chat-app#the-consent-page).

On the Free plan, Claude allows one custom connector.

## On a Team or Enterprise plan

An owner adds Artor for the whole organization first:

1. Open **Organization settings > Connectors** and choose **Add**.
2. Hover over **Custom** and select **Web**.
3. Name it `Artor`, enter the address above and choose **Continue**.
4. Keep the detected sign-in settings, with **Use Claude's published identity** as the OAuth
   client. Choose **Add**.

Then each member connects on their own, so Claude only reaches what that person can reach in
Artor:

1. Open **Customize > Connectors** and find **Artor**.
2. Choose **Connect**, then approve the connection on Artor's
   [consent page](https://artor.app/docs/connect-a-chat-app#the-consent-page).

## Use it

In a chat, open the **+** menu, choose **Connectors** and make sure Artor is on. Then ask in
plain words, for example:

- "Publish this page to Artor as a new prototype called Pricing v2."
- "What feedback is open on the latest version of Checkout redesign?"
- "Make a public link to Pricing v2 that lasts 3 days."

Claude picks the right Artor tool itself, and may ask you to confirm before it publishes or
changes something. The connector works the same in Claude on the web, desktop and mobile.

## Troubleshooting

- **"Account mismatch"** comes from Claude, not Artor: the browser is signed in to a different
  Claude account than the desktop app. Choose **Sign out and switch account** and sign in with the
  account the desktop app uses, or add the connector from Claude on the web instead.
- **Artor says the app isn't supported:** pick Claude's published identity as the OAuth client,
  not automatic registration.
- For the wrong Artor account or an expired consent page, see
  [The consent page](https://artor.app/docs/connect-a-chat-app#the-consent-page).
- **Claude can't delete a version or a trashed prototype for good:** that needs the **Delete
  permanently** permission, which starts unticked. Connect again and tick it on the
  [consent page](https://artor.app/docs/connect-a-chat-app#the-consent-page).
- **Claude stopped working after you changed your password:** resetting or changing your Artor
  password disconnects every AI app. Connect again.

To change what Claude can do, or to disconnect it, see
[Managing connections](https://artor.app/docs/connect-a-chat-app#managing-connections).
