# Home

> See everything your team shipped, newest first, and open any prototype live next to its comments.

Home shows everything your team has shipped in the current organization, newest publish first.
Every prototype you can see appears once, at its latest version. Click one to open it live, with
its comment threads beside it.

Home is where you start. Signing in, switching or creating an organization, accepting an
invitation and finishing onboarding all take you here. Open it any time from **Home** in the
sidebar, the Artor logo, or the `g` then `h` shortcut.

## The gallery

Cards are grouped into **Today**, **This week** (the six days before today) and **Earlier**,
using your own time zone. Scroll down to load more.

Each card shows:

- the version number and the prototype's name;
- how many comment threads are still open;
- a dot on the corner when there is something **new** to you: a version you haven't opened
  since it was published. Your own publishes never show as new.

Hover over a card (or focus it with the keyboard) to see who published it, which Space it is in,
when, and the start of its changelog. On a touch screen that bar is always visible.

A card's **···** menu, or a right-click, offers **Open**, **Open in new tab**, **Open prototype
page** and **Copy link**. A copied link opens the same prototype on the receiver's own Home. It
grants no access by itself: they still need to be able to see the prototype.

### Filtering by Space

The chips above the gallery narrow it to one [Space](https://artor.app/docs/spaces). **All** shows every Space you
can see.

**Note:** 
  Personal Spaces never appear on Home, including your own. A Personal Space is yours alone, and
  Home is about what the team shipped. Find your personal prototypes in your Personal Space.

## Opening a prototype

Clicking a card opens a large window with the prototype running live. It shows the latest
version, and the review widget works inside it just as it does in a tab of its own.

- **Previous / next.** Use the arrow buttons or the arrow keys to move between prototypes in the
  gallery.
- **Open in new tab** opens the exact version you are looking at.
- **Close** with **Esc**, the close button, a click outside, or the browser's Back button.
- The **···** menu opens the prototype page or copies a link.

### Comments beside the prototype

The side panel shows who published the version, when, and its changelog, then its comment
threads, open ones first. Turn on **Show resolved** to see the rest. Press `]` to show or hide
the panel. On a narrow screen it opens as a sheet over the prototype.

Click a thread to jump to its pin in the live prototype. While the panel is open and you are
working in the window, new comments show up within a few seconds, including ones you just left
through the widget.

### When the live view isn't available

Sometimes the window shows a picture of the prototype instead of the live version, with an
**Open in new tab** button:

- **Access to this prototype is off.** Its owner or an admin has
  [turned access off](https://artor.app/docs/access).
- **Live preview isn't available here.** Your organization's Artor server can't show prototypes
  inside the dashboard. The prototype still opens normally in a new tab.

A prototype that takes a while to start shows **Still starting...** after 20 seconds. You can
keep waiting or open it in a new tab.

**Note:** 
  Clicking a thread jumps straight to its pin in prototypes published with a recent version of
  the review widget. In an older version, the prototype reloads to reach the pin. Publishing a new
  version fixes that.

## Limits

- A prototype that tries to navigate the whole page (to break out of a frame) can't do so in this
  window. Use **Open in new tab** for those.
- Once you click inside the prototype, your keystrokes go to it. Click outside it (for example on
  the side panel) before using **Esc**, the arrow keys or `]`.
