# Artor pricing

**Reviewers are free** on every plan, in any number: people who only open, review and comment
on prototypes never need a paid seat. You pay only for publisher seats (people who publish
prototypes). Prices are in US dollars, per publisher seat.

The plan id is the name the Artor CLI and API use, for example in `artor usage --json`.
Starter has the plan id `free`. Yearly plans are paid once a year.

These are the limits for an organization on each plan.

### Pooled limits

On Pro and Team, storage, public-link views and prototypes running at once are pooled: each
publisher seat after the first adds the amount shown after "+".
For example, a Pro organization with 3 publishers has 70 GB storage, 100,000 public-link views over the last 30 days, and 7 prototypes running at once.
Starter does not pool. Build size and memory per running prototype never pool: they are
the same for every organization on a plan, whatever its seat count.

### What the limits mean

- **Static build size**: the compressed size of a static site's build, checked when you publish.
- **Live app build size**: the compressed size of a live app (a site with a server, such as a
  Next.js app), including its installed dependencies, checked when you publish.
- **Saved source**: every publish also saves the project's source, up to 50 MB compressed on
  every plan. This is separate from the build size.
- **Public-link views**: opens of a public share link over the last 30 days (a rolling window,
  not a calendar month). Opening a prototype from the dashboard does not count.
- **Enterprise** limits are set by contract. Any organization can also have a custom limit, so
  the limits that apply to an organization are shown to its owners and admins under Settings >
  Usage in the dashboard.

## Upgrading

- An organization **owner or admin** upgrades in the dashboard: Settings > Billing, then choose
  Pro or Team and complete checkout. The plan changes once payment clears.
- Other members cannot change the plan: ask an org owner or admin to upgrade.
- Enterprise is arranged by contacting enterprise@artor.app.
- On a paid plan, each publisher seat is billed at the plan's price per seat. Adding a publisher
  mid-period is prorated onto the next invoice.
