Connect ChatGPT
The Artor connector is in open beta.
Add Artor to ChatGPT as a custom MCP server, and ChatGPT can publish prototypes, create public links, answer review comments and organize your work in Artor, as you. What it can do is covered in Connect a chat app.
The connector address is:
https://dash.artor.app/mcpRunning your own Artor instance? See Connecting.
Add Artor
- Open ChatGPT Plugins , select +, then Add custom MCP server.
- Name it
Artorand add a short description. - Under Connection, choose the public endpoint and enter the address above.
- Choose OAuth for authentication, review the warning and select I understand and want to continue.
- Select Create as a plugin. Sign in to Artor if asked, then approve the connection on Artor’s consent page.
ChatGPT changes these screens from time to time, and on a Business or Enterprise workspace an admin may have to allow custom MCP servers first. OpenAI’s guide to connecting a custom MCP server has the current steps.
Use it
Start a chat, add Artor from the tools menu, and ask in plain words, for example:
- “Publish this page to Artor as a new prototype called Pricing v2.”
- “What feedback is open on the latest version of Checkout redesign?”
- “Make a public link to Pricing v2 that lasts 3 days.”
ChatGPT picks the right Artor tool itself, and may ask you to confirm before it publishes or changes something.
Troubleshooting
- Artor says the app isn’t supported: add Artor through ChatGPT’s own custom MCP server setup above; Artor accepts only chat apps it has approved.
- For the wrong Artor account or an expired consent page, see The consent page.
- ChatGPT can’t delete a version or a trashed prototype for good: that needs the Delete permanently permission, which starts unticked. Connect again and tick it on the consent page.
- ChatGPT stopped working after you changed your password: resetting or changing your Artor password disconnects every AI app. Connect again.
