Organizing with folders
Group related prototypes into folders so your team can find them easily.
Folders organize work; Spaces determine who can access it. To limit access, move the prototype to a suitable Space or turn off access.
Every folder lives in exactly one Space, and inherits that Space’s audience.
Draft — the default folder
Every Space has one protected Draft folder. New prototypes land in Draft unless you pick another folder, so nothing is ever unfiled. Draft can’t be renamed or deleted.
Colors
Choose a color to make a folder easier to spot in the dashboard. Clear the color to return
to the default appearance. From the CLI, use artor folder color <name> none to clear it.
In the dashboard
The Prototypes panel groups cards by folder, each section headed by the folder’s color, name, and count. New folder creates one; each folder’s ⋯ menu has rename, delete, and clear; each prototype’s ⋯ menu has Move to folder.

After installing the CLI, run these in your linked project folder:

Who can do what
Publishers with permission to edit the Space can create, rename, color, and manage its folders. Reviewers and people who can only read the Space can’t do these actions.
Deleting a folder or its contents

| Delete folder | Moves its prototypes to that Space’s Draft folder, then removes the folder. |
| Clear | Moves the prototypes to Trash and keeps the folder. |
| Delete + content | Moves the prototypes to Trash and removes the folder. |
Trashed prototypes can be recovered for 30 days. Clear and Delete + content require an admin, except in your own Personal Space: you can perform those cleanup actions there even with a reviewer seat. The protected Draft folder can’t be deleted.
Moving between folders never breaks a link
A folder is never part of a preview URL, so moving a prototype between folders never changes a shared link. Moving a prototype to a folder in a different Space does change who can reach it — you need the required access in both Spaces.
